Youth sports were never meant to feel like a job.

They were created to teach teamwork, discipline, resilience—and most importantly, to be fun. Yet somewhere along the way, we’ve lost the plot. Trophies and social media clout have taken center stage, while the real goal—developing better human beings—has been sidelined.

At MAT CLASH Wrestling Corp., we’re on a mission to bring the focus back where it belongs: the kids.

The Problem We All See

Less than 4% of high school wrestlers will ever wrestle in college. Even fewer will get a full-ride scholarship. So why are 8-year-olds cutting weight every weekend? Why are kids wrestling over 100 matches a year and being told to treat it like a career before they even know how to tie their shoes properly?

When wrestling becomes a job, it brings job-like pressure. But children aren’t equipped for that kind of emotional and mental stress. They need school, friendship, laughter, and encouragement—not stress over performance and wins.

Too often, youth sports have become about everyone except the athlete: 📣 Coaches chasing recognition 📸 Parents chasing bragging rights 🏆 Programs chasing rankings

And the athlete? They’re caught in the middle, burning out before they ever get to enjoy the journey.

A Better Way: Wrestle for the Right Reasons

At MAT CLASH, we believe wrestling should be a vessel—not just for gold medals, but for building confidence, character, and lifelong friendships. Our entire movement was built to reinforce that message.

💥The $Bmoney Beastin’ Universe was created around characters like JV, who lost 48 straight matches—but never gave up. He wasn’t pressured by his coach or parents. He just kept showing up, learning, growing, and having fun.

This is the kind of mindset we’re instilling through:

MAT CLASH – The Collectible Folkstyle Card Game: Making wrestling fun, accessible, and engaging for all kids—not just the elite few. ✅ Travel Teams: Focused on camaraderie and experience, not just medals. ✅ MAT CLASH Wrestling Club – Chattanooga’s #1 Up-and-Coming Club: A safe space for wrestlers to grow at their own pace, with zero pressure to chase clout. ✅ More coming soon—big plans to reach families across the nation and reshape how we look at this sport.

Anyone Can Wrestle.

Not everyone will wrestle in college. Not everyone should. But every kid can benefit from wrestling—when it’s taught with the right values. Let’s stop asking, “What tournament did you win?” and start asking, “What did you learn today?”

Let’s build strong kids—not broken ones. Let them love the sport on their terms.

MAT CLASH is here to lead that charge. Join us in changing the narrative.
